Solar Home light (SHL) and Solar Lantern (SL) is an ideal lightning system for illumination of residence of unelectrified rural areas. This systems supply electricity for lighting, entertainment and information to homes that are not connected to grids or where it is quiet erratic.
SHL and SL is stand alone system which consist of compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) or LED lamp as light source, rechargeable SMF/tubular battery for storage, solar photovoltaic module for charging battery, suitable electronics for operation for lamps and safe charging and discharging of batteries and mechanical hardware for fixing this subsystem.
