Solar Pumping System (SPS) refers to a system which generates electricity using array of solar PV modules and uses this electricity to drive a A.C./D.C pump (surface/bore well (submersible) type) to draw water from open wells, reservoirs or tube well for irrigation and drinking water purposes. SPS provides reliable supply of water whenever the sun shines.
